Privacy Policy

Hey there!

PizBot is a passion project built by Mohammad Ayaan Siddiqui — just a solo developer who wanted to make AI customer support accessible to everyone. This isn't a big corporation; it's just me, building something I think is cool.

That said, I take your privacy seriously. Here's what you need to know about how PizBot handles your data.

What Data We Collect

  • Account info — When you sign up via Google OAuth, we store your name, email, and profile picture. That's it.
  • Chatbot data — The bots you create, their configurations, knowledge base content (scraped websites, uploaded PDFs), and the conversations your visitors have with your bots.
  • Usage stats — We track basic analytics like message counts, conversation counts, and visitor counts to show you stats on your dashboard.
  • Payment info — If you upgrade to Pro, payment is handled entirely by Gumroad. I never see or store your credit card details.

How We Use Your Data

Pretty straightforward:

  • To provide and run the PizBot service (obviously)
  • To show you analytics about your chatbots
  • To improve the service over time
  • To communicate with you if you reach out via the contact form

I don't sell your data. I don't share it with advertisers. I don't do anything sketchy with it. Period.

Third-Party Services

PizBot uses the following third-party services:

  • Supabase — Database and authentication
  • NVIDIA NIM — AI model provider for chatbot responses
  • Gumroad — Payment processing for Pro subscriptions
  • ZenRows — Website scraping for knowledge base
  • Vercel — Hosting

Each of these services has their own privacy policies. Your data may be processed by them as part of providing the service.

AI Data Processing

PizBot uses third-party AI models (NVIDIA NIM) to generate chatbot responses. On the Free plan, conversation messages are not stored on our servers — they exist only during the active chat session. On the Pro plan, conversations are stored to power advanced analytics features (top questions, chat history). All conversations are sent to the AI model provider for processing and may be used by them for model training or improvement.

For this reason, we strongly recommend that your website visitors avoid entering sensitive personal information — such as passwords, credit card numbers, social security numbers, or other confidential data — in chatbot conversations.

Cookies

We use cookies only for authentication (keeping you logged in). No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no creepy stuff.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled. This means users can only access their own data — you can't see other people's bots or conversations, and they can't see yours.

Your Rights

You can:

  • Delete your chatbots and their data anytime from the dashboard
  • Request deletion of your entire account by contacting me
  • Export your data (Pro plan includes CSV export)

Changes to This Policy

If I make significant changes to this policy, I'll update the date at the top. Since this is a solo project, changes will be rare — but transparency matters.
